Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

Idiot government!
NUTS……
why in hell should thy be fined its their land why do we have to have this immoral c**p shoved down our throats
Whatever happened to the term,”Free Enterprise/” We have seen businesses put signs in their windows saying,”No Shoes,No Shirt,No Service.” Or “We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.” If a person comes in to an establishment spouting foul language or disrupting, they can ask that person to leave! Right! Are not all these ways in which we discriminate? This is out and out Judicial activism and basically a totalitarian move in my opinion!
Close the farm to private invitations only!!
Well then if they are open to the PUBLIC then they are bound to the same laws and regulations as any other business open to the PUBLIC. If you don’t like it…don’t be open to the PUBLIC.
they should be able to refuse who they want to refuse
They were in their right
Tell those gay $#%&!@*s to go to hell!
Good ! Evil did not prevail !
