Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

This is why the liberals need to line up with ISIS!
Now that’s stupid
So when the Giffords put the farm up for sale and leave the state, or they no longer host weddings. What at that time was accomplished besides nothing. Think this will be good advertising for New York. New York with the highest Debt to GDP, New York ranked dead last at Rich States Poor States. New York where according to the U.S. Census Bureau more people are leaving than are coming in.
That couple should be ashamed of themselves forcing their way of life of a family business owner…..KARMA!!!
If a bar can post a sign saying they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, why can’t such a policy apply to another business?
For the same reason they can’t refuse to host a black wedding or a Jewish wedding. I have to agree on this one.
Don’t pay it!
Right to refuse service to anyone
screw that, sue the government for forcing bigoted views on the farner.
Dont pay them a DIME!!!! You have RIGHTS too!!!!
