Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

stupid
this in “the land of the free”- -disgusting- –
Hey should have hosted it and sabotaged it half way through then.
This is just wrong.
I SUPPORT THE FARMERS THIS IS AMERICA AND FREE CHOICE
if a restaurant has the right to refuse service- why don’t they. I have nothing against any group, but if someone feels that strongly by their religious convictions, then why couldn’t the couple go elsewhere and find some place else to celebrate. That’s a real good way to start out wedded bliss by causing someone else holy hell!
I wonder if the lgbt community realizes that doing things like this will lose them more and more support?
So much for “freedom of religion”. (I HATE liberals! I SPIT on them!)
They could have compromised and had it in the barn with the bull, Baal….presiding… …!
So wrong,
