Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

Good for them, what happen the right to refuse any body.If it is against their beliefs.
That’s total Bullsh-t. It’s their property and they can do what they want with their property. If they don’t want to have a Lesbian wedding on their property that’s their right. Government needs to get their damn noses out of everyones private business.
So tired of all this in your face BS…the closet will look pretty good if the radical islamists come looking for them.
It’s an abomination. People are to quick to accept. This is America, we are free to Pick and choose . No shoes no shirt no service. I voted against same sex marriage. Yet it was over turned. No one should be fined for their beliefs. Just another reason for the government to come up. Disgusting. Abomination….. !
