Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

Your right carol Johnson. Just like the riots in ferguson
Now they need to make it policy on the farm, no same sex marriages here! If you want to be married as same sex, then go see SATAN to get married. He’s in the White House!
bs and these fking gay right advocates.
Terrible!!! They have a right to have whatever they want on their property!!!!!!!
Since when did businesses have to take on unwelcome clients, for whatever reason? Is this their way of putting select businesses out of business? All people would have to do is try to book and sue! How does this work in a free enterprise system? Since when did businesses become slaves to the clients?
That bs
we reserve the right to refuse service to any one we want. PERIOD!
It’s their right to host what ever they want and refuse whatever they want, it’s their property.
God bless them for sticking to their beliefs and defying the commies.
