Owners Cynthia and Robert Gifford of the Liberty Ridge Farm in New York have been fined $13,000 for refusing to host a gay wedding.
The Gifford’s host approximately 12 weddings at their farm per year, but refused to host one for a lesbian couple as they feel it would violate their religious beliefs.
But the New York State Division of Human Rights ruled that because the Liberty Ridge Farm is open to the public for specific events, like weddings, it must be classified as a “public accommodation.” This places the farm under a sexual orientation non-discrimination state ordinance.

Here,s what you do. Close down, don,t pay the fine, and then wipe the dust of of the 30-30.
Take it to court
There only open to the public if they used public advertising . If its done by word of mouth then can refuse anyone they want .
i do not believe advertising defines if it is public or not!
God does not teach us hate!!! Stand by your beliefs but leave the name calling out of it. Don’t pay the fine and fight it. I’ve always liked this site but wow on the judgment. Gods place to judge not ours, and a true Christian knows that.
Stand for what is RIGHT ! If I was forced to host that wedding , they would not be Happy !
That is wrong it is time to stand up for right and freedom
Gay is not a race…sorry
Tell the lesbians to go suck…. dsg
And this is why I’m against the NDO (Non-discrimination order) which was recently defeated in my home-town.
