Ron Paul and Donald Trump share much in common. They both have similar bases, have distinct anti-establishment appeal, and reject American involvement in foreign wars. But they don’t necessarily agree on that last point when it comes to Syria.
After Trump made the decision to strike the airfield that launched Bashar al-Assad’s most recent chemical attack, the president claimed that the strike was necessary to protect American interests. Paul doesn’t agree.
In fact, Paul and Trump don’t seem to agree on much of anything when it comes to Syria. While the Trump administration reportedly has video proving that Assad was behind the attack, Paul believes that the mission was a false flag. According to the former congressman, there is “zero chance” that Assad deliberately gassed his own people.

He was having tea with asshat so it couldn’t have been him
Nancy Stodgel, if you don’t have anything intelligent to say, then just sit down. Nobody is “ok” with kids being gassed. I’m no more “ok” with that than I am with one country taking out another countries elected leaders.
Way to totally miss the point I was making with the 9-11 analogy Tom Amstutz and Nancy Stodgel. Smh, some people

I think Ron Paul is correct!
Good to see that the old fool is still screwy.
Gas was used before in Syria as well. So, this recent attack is not a new thing. The points are this:1. Chemical warfare items were supposedly removed from Syria. This has been proven false. 2. Russia is more appalled at Trump’s bombing of a chemical weapons site than they are about the gassing of innocent people. 3. Which leads to the conclusion that Trump and Russia are not as friendly as the Democrats would like us to believe. Trumps responded in a way that sent a clear message that atrocities of this nature would not be tolerated. Something Obama never did, and note the media silence on that fact.
Ron….go home
Jared Martin You realize that chemical attacks on innocent people is without a doubt horrendous and inhumane. You should also realize that there is a dual plan here-ISIS and Assad are both out of control and dangerous to not just Syrians. They are BOTH being addressed.
