A video created by students at Evergreen College is being shared around the internet. This video shows student activists sharing their feelings at a meeting with university President George Bridges. Problems arose after a student was found to have shared a recording of the meeting without the activist’s consent.
Evergreen College released a statement in support of the student activists threatening legal action against the individual who shared the video.
As the student activists were not comfortable with others knowing of their contributions to society. Furthermore, the video contained adult language and offensive rhetoric regarding white people.
Martin Luther King Jr. would likely have been shocked to see what these student activists consider to be protesting. But, activism and education quality has changed over the years
