Green Mountain, Colorado, no longer has a police force. For no reason, everyone in the in the Green Mountain Police department has quit. The police chief resigned on Tuesday and it was a domino effect as others quickly followed suit.
The town of Green Mountain Falls has survived four days with no police department and has demonstrated that peace can prevail without a force in place . Sadly, the town will more than likely end up with a “new group of armed enforcers” to ticket “petty offenses”.
