Some of the comments on here are absolutely absurd. How is it that people have been brainwashed into thinking that the only good water is city/treated water ?!? People have lived for centuries with wells, and still do in many rural areas. And most of the world uses wells. Hell, even major cities use wells.
Still have to be drinkable and tested continuously for contamination. Has to be filtered so filters have to be changed and they only remove heavier contaminates. The drilling process alone cost as much as 1 to 2 years of public service water. Although water runs under most everywhere at different depths it doesn’t mean you can install a well anywhere. They have to be located in areas away from potential contaminates and rain water run off is a problem in lower areas. About 15% of Americans use well water and they are using it at their own risk. The EPA doesn’t test any areas that have less than 25 or 20 houses on the ground water system! All I’m saying is you can’t just drill a hole and be drink for free!
It seems to me like you would already need a drilled well to drill the second one.
Heeeey, that dude’s tag…… he is from my county here in LA (Lower Alabama). small world. Lol
This will work but only in the right conditions, with that being said you can go to the local health department and for $17.00 you can take their kit that they will sell you and you can take a sample of your water and they will get it tested for you. This way you will know if your spring or well water is safe to drink!!!
