Worked here done drilled 2 of em 100 ft deep doing exactly that took two days to drill a hole but it works
Depends on the depth of your water table. This would not work for where we are given the first table (not drinkable) is approx 140ft down. Next is 700 ft (drinkable but you have to go thru 2 beds of rock.
Already got one, and a generator to run it.
It’s not against the law to collect rain water in Arkansas but I don’t think I’m going to drill my own well.
