Dozens of Democrats are moving forward with a lawsuit against President Donald Trump because they claim his business empire violates the emoluments clause of the Constitution.
The idea that Trump is violating the emoluments clause is one of the earliest charges against the Trump presidency. In the months since, charges of Russian collusion and obstruction of justice have mostly buried the issue — but now it’s back.
It seems the Democrats may be coming to terms with the fact that Trump will not be impeached. Despite the Democrats’ best efforts, no one has managed to produce any evidence that suggests Trump acted inappropriately with Comey or the Russians.
So they’re going back to their first, less serious accusation.

President Trump handed over his businesses to his sons while he’s President. Why is an Emolument Law coming into focus when it wasn’t used for any other president who had businesses or assets and gained financially from them?…Those sick liberals are beginning to make my skin crawl with their evil bitterness against the President and the in-your-face hatred for the people who elected him into office. If there is going to be a lawsuit against him his attorneys should counter sue every person who signs and files the lawsuit. Their childish b******t needs to stop and they should, by law, be forced to get some counseling to find out what the hell their problem is. It damn sure can’t be just one man who was elected by the people to represent them, and if they are that vindictive, bitter, and hateful, they should be permanently confined to mental institutions because normal, rational, mature, sane human beings do not behave the way liberals are behaving. They can continue licking their wounds and crying over Hillary while in padded rooms because we as a country that’s trying to prosper do not and cannot tolerate anymore of their insanity before we begin going insane ourselves, nor should we be forced to deal with their crybaby ignorance, lies, and vengeance… Hillary Clinton needs to put an end to this, and if she doesn’t she should be arrested for knowingly inciting violence every time she speaks negatively about the President, disturbing the peaceful lives that everyone should be entitled to, and encouraging her counterparts to destroy the President of the United States by her failing to accept and acknowledge the election results. When someone is the cause of others getting hurt or destroyed, that someone is responsible. She accused Mr. Trump of not being able to do handle the results of the election, yet turned around and did exactly what she accused him of possibly doing. But that’s how evilness works and transpires because the accuser is so demonic she thinks everyone else is like her…Sorry for such a long comment, but I’m just sick of all the liberal nonsense and our lives being put on hold while they continue searching for or creating another reason to destroy, sue, or investigate the President.
