Instead of dumping your used oil, why not use it for heating? You can burn all types of oil – gear, vegetable, engine, hydraulic, transmission, biodiesel, etc.
This heater/stove can be built easily with spare parts and provide you with heat without cost.
I believe it is illegal in Maryland also. Will have to check. Usually whatever California does, our Governor is not far behind.
Everything illegal in California except illegals
I love it , bound to drive the EPA nuts !
Man I can’t wait for the tards in the epa to pick this one apart
Adrienne Schaeffer good ideal huh
I made mine out of an old gas water heater. 40 bucks in parts and gravity fed from a barrel and it would burn about a quart an hour. It was in my garage and I had to move the camaro I was working on because it started to melt the bumper on it…5 feet away! You couldn’t stand even a couple of feet away from it for more than a few seconds. Used motor oil, water heater, some 4 and 6 inch metal tubing and a old frying pan. It was rediculus hot, very efficient and no soot or smoke at all coming from the chimney. When they are set up right they burn very clean.
Allan Terry watch this…need your help!!
I use to use this all the time. It works well. However if you do not like the smell you can vent it or use it to heat steam piped in.
burning motor oil not good idea, lead
Motor oil does not have lead now, what decade you in?
