As you’ll see later in the video, this is not only cheap, but super simple to do yourself.
With 3 ingredients and about 15 minutes of your time you can make your own laundry detergent for only 20 cents a gallon.
Plus it won’t have any 1,4-Dioxane like much of the store-bought stuff, which even the EPA says is a ‘probable human carcinogen’.
So, you can file this under ‘money saving’, ‘survival tactics’ and ‘healthier living’ as well!

Their is a better recipe using the same ingredients w/o water and cooking.
With three elements you can cause harm
YES, THIS CAN BE USED IN (H.E) washers, almost preferred most of the time as it contains no filler or soap suds. Only use a little. Mix it with lemon juice and vinegar and some essential oils lavender or your clothes may come out smelling the same as they went in especially if you have hard water.
I must try this.
Well, tell me what are the three ingredients and how do you make it. I clicked on the clicker and it does not tell me how to make it
1 bar of soap grated (Fels Naptha, Ivory…) Borax and Washing soda (not baking!) Heat grated soap with 2 cups water in a pot until dissolved. 1/2 cup washing soda and 1 cup borax are then added to dissolved soap in a 5 gallon bucket. Add hot water to fill, cover and let stand overnight. Break up gel pieces that form overnight. Add 1/2 of bucket to another 5 gallon bucket. Fill both buckets with hot water and cover. Use 1 cup per load.
