As you’ll see later in the video, this is not only cheap, but super simple to do yourself.
With 3 ingredients and about 15 minutes of your time you can make your own laundry detergent for only 20 cents a gallon.
Plus it won’t have any 1,4-Dioxane like much of the store-bought stuff, which even the EPA says is a ‘probable human carcinogen’.
So, you can file this under ‘money saving’, ‘survival tactics’ and ‘healthier living’ as well!

Brenda, don’t worry. The kids won’t drink much.
I make my own laundry soap powdered 2 lg. Zote bars grated 1 box arm and hammer washing soda and 1 box 20 mule team borax low sudsing use only 2 Tablespoons per wash non allergenic dont need bleach or fabric softner. keep in tightly sealed container lasts quite awhile cost @ 8$ total I buy my supplies @ Walmart. Safe for HE and babies also.
Still has toxic products in it smh
I use the same ingredients but use it dry – easier to mix and you only need a tablespoon per load. Great to use in my business!
As a man I see no need for detergent, afterall hot equals clean. Just throw it in the dryer…no dryer? Use microwave…no microwave? Rub underarm deoterant on the smelly bits…
Sounds like a good idea, may try this. Have to save all the jugs first.

can it be used in HE washers?
I make this soap by the gallon. Same ingredients. 1/2 cup of each arm& hammer super wash and borax. 1/3 of bar felsnapa. Work great, just rub into stains. Low suds so can be used in any machine. Use 1/2 cup of soap per load
