As you’ll see later in the video, this is not only cheap, but super simple to do yourself.
With 3 ingredients and about 15 minutes of your time you can make your own laundry detergent for only 20 cents a gallon.
Plus it won’t have any 1,4-Dioxane like much of the store-bought stuff, which even the EPA says is a ‘probable human carcinogen’.
So, you can file this under ‘money saving’, ‘survival tactics’ and ‘healthier living’ as well!
Ready to see how to make your own detergent? Move to the next page, then watch and learn:
I made my own laundry soap in Jan. of 2013….it was not the liquid…but never the less, I still haven’t used it all…over a year and a half of not having to buy any, and my clothes have never been cleaner…not to mention the environmental benefits!!! ….this is way more than a win-win!!!!! 🙂
I make my own laundry pods….48 pods for 88cents..I’m on my second batch..no more store bought for me
Man this is good to know!
You can bypass all the stuff and just grate the soap and use the powder dry. Works just as well.
Spic & span powder
I rather not use a product that support terrorism, is there any other washing soda pther then arm and hammer?
I don’t make the liquid it is TOO messy. I do make the powder and it works great…I make my own lye soap and after it has cured use that for the soap in the powder detergent!
Be careful…don’t want the govt to find out. They might fine u for it.
Alisa make your own washing soda. Get baking soda spread it out on a parchment lined cookie sheet then bake it for 45minutes-1hour at 400 degree F. That turns the baking soda into wash soda.
Tammy Ryan Walpole this weekend maybe try it??
