If you have to use 70% isopropyl alcohol than this pest management technique is not free from pesticides. A pesticide is any substance used to control unwanted pests. There are many pesticides used today that are just as or more benign than 70% isopropyl alcohol but people fear their use because they lack understanding of the chemical formulation and distrust people who have a more in depth understanding of risks and hazards.
