The warm summer months never last forever. Soon it’s time to look for a way to bring a little extra warmth into the home and this simple solar heater is a great project to do just that. It’s made of metal cans, steel or aluminum, and can produce a surprisingly strong and consistent airflow upwards of 140F.
Even on a heavy snow day you’re looking at somewhere around 75-85F.
Best of all, this simple project requires just a few common parts and many of them can simply be re-purposed from your regular recycling. Watch the project come together in the fully-detailed video on the NEXT PAGE:
the reviews i’ve seen says that this type of heater can produce pretty nice heat even on cloudy days. it’s worth a try

“What does the fan hook up to? I saw there was a cord attached to it, but nothing in the video shows what that cord does. Thanks”

Interesting
Fascinating where are the instructions .
they are great and no fan is needed if you vent it right. and if there is no sun it doesnt work well, but count the number of cold days when its sunny out. it makes a huge difference over the winter. build a big enough one and it would create some serious heat. if your cold air input is at the bottom and your heat is at the top it will circulate by itself.
ACK SHUN!
