A simple and inexpensive car security kill switch could give you a layer of protection to prevent car theft.
This instruction will illustrate installation of a kill switch that will not allow the car to be started without the switch being on, which you would placeĀ in a not-so-obvious place in your car. With the switch on thieves have another difficulty to deal with with trying to start your car.
Note that the actual instruction begins at 1:30 in the video.

When my switch was in the active mode, the left turn signal had to be active for it to start.
I would hire someone to put one in my car, sure I would blow it up myself!
OLD SCHOOL .before key bobbs and alarms
If a thief can’t steal your car they’ll trash it and the damage will be considered vandalism and not covered by insurance. If the car is stolen it will be covered. Your better off letting them steal it.
If you have comprehensive coverage it will be covered less deductible. I think a motion sensor inside the car that notifies you when anyone enters the car would be helpful. Nobody pays any attention to a car alarm anymore.
How about a huge f**e rattle snake that hisses and launches a strike and then recoils by up for continuous other strikes and a system that calls the police after the second strike and an ambulance after the third strike cause the snake could spit pepper spray and the lights on the vehicle can begin to flash.
