There’s something about the words “Hillary Clinton” and “jail time” that’s really soothing to the ears. And the visual it brings of a corrupt old crow sitting behind bars really gives you hope for America’s future. While we’ve been hearing those words quite a bit in the media lately, the past couple of weeks have been relatively silent on the matter.
However, according to reports that came in at the end of January, it would seem that the FBI is ready to indict Hillary, and if it’s recommendation to do so isn’t followed by the United States Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, the agency’s investigators are planning on blowing the whistle and going public. Ah . . . justice.
Speaking of justice, this case could show exactly what kind of justice system we have. Will Hillary Clinton be held accountable for her actions, as she should? Or will the Obama Administration snuff this flame before it grows? This American ideal that the citizens should be held accountable while politicians get a free pass is tiresome. Who watches the watchmen?
Read what a Washington Times radio host had to say on the next page.
You know that’s not how EO’s work right?
Conservatives don’t care if a criminal says it. Trump being the Republican nominee proves that.
All you have to say to these rabid republicans is Obama bad, Hillary criminal and watch t e dullwits come forth.
The President cannot order the FBI to stop an investigation.
Just a fact you should know.
Didn’t the Bush administration do the same thing?
Yes they did but somehow you don’t care about that. Or when Cheney deleted 22 million emails. No concern there either.
Love the hypocrisy.
We can do it but you can’t.
Rick Hess
Both of your comments make no sense.
If a republican controlled investigation can find nothing after a year and a half and millions of dollars investigations this, what makes you still think something has been done?
The quick answer, they’ve found nothing wrong.
Laura Paquin
No the people do not.
That’s why we have investigatory agencies.
Mark Young, if the Bush administration and former Secretary of States were guilty of the exact same thing, why aren’t they under investigation? Surely President Obama could have taken action to make that happen. The Republicans aren’t in charge of this. The FBI is. Under President Obama’s Justice Department and the Attorney General that he hand picked. All of this investigation is being done with the President’s blessing. Where do you think those email leaks came from in the first place? Directly from the White House. No one in the GOP would have known about any of this. Hillary got handed up by fellow Democrats. Has nothing to do with Republicans.
Mark Young I’m just saying – this president will stop at nothing. I’m old enough to remember Nixon and what he did. This president is far worse . He is an “ends justify the means person” , has no problem lying, and really does not like this country.
Jeff I’m not too sure of that, in my opinion this sounds like a witch hunt that was started by The Right to keep Democrats from having another eight years in the White House but more importantly from having a Progressive Supreme Court. The mere fact that the previous two Republican Secretary of States also had private servers and we’re not investigated shows how desperate the Right were to discredit her.
