In the bitter congressional battle over Marco Rubio’s Gang of Eight immigration bill, Ted Cruz offered up an amendment that left open the pathway to legal status for illegal immigrants currently in the country.
Ted has since suggested that that amendment was a “poison pill,” or an amendment meant to kill the bill altogether. His opponents, on the other hand, have pointed to that amendment as proof that the man who is campaigning partially on his incredibly strong stance against illegal immigration secretly supports amnesty.
Ted is now trying to set the record straight once and for all, by positioning himself far to the right of both Rubio and Trump on immigration.
See what he said he would do to the illegal immigrants currently in the United States on the next page:
One only has to see who Cruz’s biggest donors are to see where his priorities lie
Trump is going to change some laws and the Congress best support him and they are going right away, no chance for a hearing! Illegal means illegal you have no rights!
As a Christian I’m getting sick of Cruz “Bearing False Witness”. Trump started this deportation discussion. Makes me sick.
Back in the beginning, Cruz was ALL for keeping them, no deports. At that time Trump was the bad. guy. Is Cruz putting in a bid for V.P.?
Trump 2016
Go Trump. Say NO to Cruz for V.P.
Donald Trump said he would deport them and they can come back LEGALLY. But they have to go home first and apply to re enter the US. Ted Cruz is a LIAR!
All of the front runners will say anything…
I believe him every bit as much the other candidates.
TRUMP would grant citizenship? What have you been smoking? TRUMP wants the illegals and muslims OUTTA HERE.
