The American people have made it abundantly clear that they want the system of government envisioned by the Founding Fathers, but the country remains mired in the practices that characterize our modern, statist government.
Originally, the United States was intended to uphold individualist values, as evidenced by the repeated references to the rights of citizens to, among other things, freedom of speech, religion, and self-defense in the constitution. The idea was that by building upon this blueprint, we would be able to work towards a perfect understanding of liberty.
Today, however, nothing could be further from the truth: the power of government, which is expressly circumscribed in the country’s founding documents, is virtually unrestrained. Regulation is out of control and law enforcement is able to behave as it sees fit. Fortunately, it seems that many are finally fed up with this authoritarian state of affairs.

Yeah, now they need to rule that E-logs for truckers are unconstitutional!!
Problem is the Ohio State supreme Court overturned this, this year. Dayton has already started using them again. Worse yet the Dayton police are now equipped with cameras on the speed guns and are now mailing tickets instead of traffic stops in some parts of town.
It’s ok to break speeding laws now
No it’s about money. If it was about safety they would be patrolling more. What does getting a civil fine in the mail weeks after the incident do to detour drivers, a police officer pulling you over and sitting at certain intersections promotes safety more.
Yes we need these Camera’s to get all these Assholes who brake the Law !! They will think Twice before doing it again !!
Driving on roads today is a real challenge, especially for older Americans. I support the installation and use of electronic devices as long as citizens are warned before with signage that warns them. I believe soon cameras will be installed on freeways and will take a picture and send you a present in the mail. It is frustrating to drive on two lane highways that have a 70 mph limit and the left lane is flying by you between 80 and 90 while the right lane has cars and trucks going only 50 to 55.
Matthew the state has the right to regulate commence! They do not have the right to regulate a free citizens right to travel!
James Watson it was passed by the FMCSA so ya the states regulate it but it was the government that put all of this into motion.
That’s one way to lose freedoms and your rights . All in the name of safety talk about nuts ?
It’s ridiculous ! My friend , who was 10 miles from home . Had to stop for 2 hours in the dead of winter before he could go home
