Florida’s Third District Court of Appeals has just made a landmark ruling that the Institute for Justice is calling “a major blow to property rights.”
Tom Carroll and Hermine Ricketts, 17-year homeowners, have been fighting the Village of Miami Shores for the last 6 years. The battle ended in a verdict after 3 years but they fought on. The couple subsequently sued based on a constitutional infringement upon their right to use their own private property as well as a violation of the equal protection clause.

dumb asses
You can use your backyard to grow vegetables. You could probable grow a few edible things in a flower border, or grow fruit shrubs like gooseberries or blueberries, maybe have rhubarb as an ornamental, or put cherry tomatoes in a hanging basket. Sounds like they just didn’t want the visual impact of rows of vegetables at the front of the house.
Stupidity has seeded out. Common sense has died. Rip.
And THEY don’t HAVE tbe right TO be a judges.
