Say what you will about Donald Trump, but you can’t pin the blame for any of the disasters that have befallen our nation within these past few decades on him or his policy proposals.
What liberal don’t understand is that successive generations of failed immigration and foreign policy, although perhaps benefitting them and the rest of the ivory tower elite, have left the country weakened and the American people impoverished. Instead of doing what most countries and looking out for their citizens’ interests, our government elected to cater to special interests and foreign powers instead, opening the borders up to free trade and cheap labor while Americans were left to fend for themselves.
Forgotten by the establishment, it was no wonder that ordinary Americans rallied behind Donald Trump after he promised to return power to them and once again make the country great.

This is simply common sense. You don’t have to be a long time US Senator or a multi-term US Representative or a graduate of a prestigious university’s Political Science degree program or a an award winning senior news correspondent to be able to figure this out. Anyone old enough to look out of their window and comprehend the concepts of rightness and wrongness would or should be able to grasp the reality. There would be no “President” Trump today if he hadn’t been sorely NEEDED and that goes to those on the Right as well as the Left. Democrats, through Hillary Clinton, offered us nothing but politics as usual and more of the same and even more of that. Republicans offered us no more than politics as usual and the promise to kick back and let it all happen again and again. The fear, the violence, the corruption, the cynicism running rampant through our society. The losses of jobs, the overwhelming debt political correctness muffling and stifling any or all criticisms. We, the American public wanted the center of the road and slightly on the right and our government was hell bent to go left and off the cliff to oblivion. Inter Donald Trump (and it could have been anyone but he stepped forward) and offered to get the country back on the even route we demanded. Remember, when the driver is suicidal and has the wheel, it’s not surprising that the passengers decide that someone else should do the driving.
The immigration issue is a sure thing.
Economically, one cannot expect a exceedingly rare bubble to last forever.

As normal Ann Coulter is spot on.
Coulter was talking about the court, the author is using it for their story…it’s journalism. Now if the author directly said Coulter was talking about Trump yes it would be f**e news…this is a commentary.
Pres. Trump will be blamed for what ever he tries to0 do.
I just looked up the numbers and immigration didn’t increase significantly under Obama. He also deported a lot more people than his predecessor. I’m not sure about some of the stuff I hear about ‘opening the door wide and letting anyone and everyone come pouring in’.
