Law enforcement in Eugene, OR have stated they will forcibly draw blood on anyone refusing a breathalyzer this coming July 4th weekend.
Of course, drunk driving is a very serious matter. But do you agree that law enforcement can take such physical action against someone not yet convicted of a crime when they can still detain you by giving less intrusive tests, just as they have done for years?
i still disagree with this practice- unconstitutional-
Highly illegal and I would forcibly draw their blood
Another crazy Oregon law, that place needs some house cleaning.
Wrong
They will prolly just crack u one in the jaw. & taze you till u p**s your pants then test your urine too. Unless your an illegal alien then just they let you go upon your merry way!
another right bites the dust
unlawful search and siezure.
That is BS!!! I am against Drinking and driving. But that is wrong, $#%&!@* that.
I would not trust anyone that isn’t a doctor to mine. Doctors have a hard time as I have very small veins. And very little blood if they want four vials I can only give 3. I get stuck with pins and don’t always bled a tiny drop. When I have surgery my husband gives me blood. So I don’t think so as I don’t drink while driving but water.
Absolutely not.
