Gun owners have to be extra careful these days to avoid not only incurring the wrath of overzealous law enforcement but playing into the hands of the anti-gun crowd as well.
Case in point is Guo Shou, a Queens man who was taken into police custody after authorities exercised a warrant to search his apartment and found a massive arsenal in it. What they found was enough weapons and ammo to “take on a small army”, per Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Among his inventory were 14 legally-obtained handguns, 2 licensed and loaded shotguns, 1 licensed rifle and around 45,000 rounds of ammo for any number of weapons. He was also found to be in possession of parts that could be assembled into an AR-10 or AR-15 assault rifle as well as several pieces of Kevlar body armor.
While all of Shou’s equipment was legally acquired, police claimed that he failed to store it properly, thus necessitating his arrest.

I thought the whole goal was to have more ammo than the government
And you want to live in NYC because?
45K is “a lot of ammo?” I know machine gun owners that have over 1 million rounds!
Mark Davis He would have if he could have. If you think for a second Obama isn’t for confiscation, I have some beachfront property I’ll sell you very cheap.
OK.. so Where was it stored ? If just busting down the front door .. these were the goodies you could get your hands on? then yes he should have been arrested.. just my opinion.. as far as him owning them.. that is his right .. and mine.. but If I had THAT much fun stuff .. it would be locked in several safes with alarms…. and guard dogs..
THATS LIKE SAYING YOU GOT TO MUCH MONEY WONT HAPPEN
Well yes and then there is that isn’t there. But as for me I’ll feel quite safe in my concrete bunker with the 27 foot thick walls and 35 years worth of freeze dried food. In answer to your question ‘why’ the reason is the city can’t deny his request for gun ownership because the U.S. Supreme Court added meaning to the U.S. Constitution that was never meant to be there. So I guess it only follows the reasoning that if you have thousands of guns you will need millions of rounds of ammo. Oh and lets store all that ammo in an apartment in the Queens section of New York City where there are no other people to worry about stealing it. Right Reese? .
And then it will be too many cars, too many pencils, too many dogs, too many cats, too many friends, too much money, too big of a house, etc.
New York gun control at work.
You do know , don’t you Reese, that the founding fathers placed no restrictions on the 2nd Amendment. Felons were allowed to walk right out of prison and buy any weapon they wanted. The mentally unbalanced could and did buy whatever weapons they wanted. There were no meaningful laws about what types of firearms could be restricted until 1937., and no Federal prohibition on Felons or mentally handicapped citizens from firearms ownership until 1968. The big question for the folks on this thread is, Do you support these prohibitions against types of weapons, felons and the mentally challenged ?
this is outrageous. he had BETTER challenge these assholes in court.
