Gun owners have to be extra careful these days to avoid not only incurring the wrath of overzealous law enforcement but playing into the hands of the anti-gun crowd as well.
Case in point is Guo Shou, a Queens man who was taken into police custody after authorities exercised a warrant to search his apartment and found a massive arsenal in it. What they found was enough weapons and ammo to “take on a small army”, per Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Among his inventory were 14 legally-obtained handguns, 2 licensed and loaded shotguns, 1 licensed rifle and around 45,000 rounds of ammo for any number of weapons. He was also found to be in possession of parts that could be assembled into an AR-10 or AR-15 assault rifle as well as several pieces of Kevlar body armor.
While all of Shou’s equipment was legally acquired, police claimed that he failed to store it properly, thus necessitating his arrest.

Exactly. This guy was a danger to his neighbors – not because he was going to shoot anyone, but because he didn’t know how to store his stuff properly.
Part of responsible gun ownership is knowing your$#%&!@*from your elbow – too many people nowadays are “into” guns because it’s “cool”, and are either too clueless or too lazy to learn how to proplerly use and care for their weapons..
What part of “shall not be infringed” is so hard to comprehend?
Exactly how much is too much? Who makes this decision? How does this NOT infringe on the 2nd amendment?
We have a right to own guns, but we don’t gave the right to infringe upon our neighbor’s right to be safe and secure in their own homes. That’s why felons, mentally handicapped people and people with serious mental illness are not allowed to have weapons, and it’s why idiots who keep hundreds of pounds of improperly stores explosives in their apartments need to lose their weapons and ammo, until such time as they learn to be RESPONSIBLE gun owners.

“Powder comes in a sealed container it’s not unsafe unless you go out of your way to make it unsafe. ”
EXACTLY – and this jackass had 225 lbs of the stuff, IMPROPERLY STORED.
Does his arrest report site the laws he broke? Sounds to me like everything he had in his possession was legal. As far as I know there is no state with an arms limitation law that would prevent anyone from owning any amount of arms or ammo. He’ll beat this.
It was 225 pounds of gunpowder. That was the problem. No, it wouldn’t explode, but it could ignite a severe fire quickly. Not very bright.
So he was arrested for legal purchases. All his guns were legal. They arrested him a=on a handgun check. That is anti Constitutional. I hope he sues the New York city and the Mayor personally. Democrats are communists. This man did not have an arsenal. In Nevada, Arizona,Texas, Oklahoma, he is considered under armed. The NRA needs to step in on this and defend this man.
There is no such thing!
