Gun owners have to be extra careful these days to avoid not only incurring the wrath of overzealous law enforcement but playing into the hands of the anti-gun crowd as well.
Case in point is Guo Shou, a Queens man who was taken into police custody after authorities exercised a warrant to search his apartment and found a massive arsenal in it. What they found was enough weapons and ammo to “take on a small army”, per Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Among his inventory were 14 legally-obtained handguns, 2 licensed and loaded shotguns, 1 licensed rifle and around 45,000 rounds of ammo for any number of weapons. He was also found to be in possession of parts that could be assembled into an AR-10 or AR-15 assault rifle as well as several pieces of Kevlar body armor.
While all of Shou’s equipment was legally acquired, police claimed that he failed to store it properly, thus necessitating his arrest.

Precisely !
If they try to say he owned guns within 1000 feet of a school, it cannot stand up in court. They may try this tactic, but it is specious argument by the L.E. Chief.
It’s New York, It’s not like it’s the US or anything.
I read this twice and I have yet found a crime that will get him 7 years in prison for that matter arrested. Collectors and gun aficionados may have this many guns. Ammo too much? If one were an avid shooter who practices on a weekend or competitively consider the sporting clay competitor who shoots minimally 500 rounds a week and purchases in bulk to reduce cost. That said unless there were some extenuating circumstances not related in the article this is government over reach based upon pure emotion and political agenda.
Sorry, there is no such thing as too much. And there is no such law saying there is too much.
There has to be more to the story.
from the post….seems like folks did not read the article….he had containers of gunpowder, with the ammo was a danger. I would not want to live in an apartnment and have that next to me.
FAT PIGS JUST WANTED HIS GUNS..
Since when is this a crime?
Why is it that you can’t have too many guns, but you can hoard all the money you want and it doesn’t matter.
