Watch this video as a man, Andre Stockett, defends his rights at a routine traffic stop and police try everything they can to make him yield, even threatening to take their 2 week old baby to Child Protective Services, because he refused to show his ID.
Yes, this man could have shown his ID and perhaps avoided all the hooplah, but one should never be scared or to defend their rights, especially if they feel they might subject themselves to more of the same abuse if they do.
The incident happened in Sandusky, Ohio.
There will never be a civil war. People are easily pacified. The masses are not a threat.
obey? yes u can obey me…lmao
Unless the police start policing their own, you may be correct, Mr. Hollihan…I hope not.
more evidence of the police state we live in.
Get real. If you are stopped for a traffic violation you are required to produce your driver’s license. In most states compliance with traffic laws, including producing your license, helps to insure your continuing privilege to drive. When you refuse to comply you should also know that you put your driving privilege in jeopardy. Your choice. In some states, failure to produce your ID is a criminal violation. That means that you may be physically arrested and taken to jail. This is not the time to act in the interest of principal when you have your children in the back seat. So then what happens to your children? The officers try to reach a family member, or they call Child Protective Services. The officers have no alternative. The police officers didn’t write these laws. However, should they not know who they are have contact with. Be reasonable.
You would think that with 4 officers there, on scene at least one of them would have had some sense, but no, they are all a bunch of scumbags. They stand around and claim to uphold the law, and the Constitution, but spend their days, breaking the law, and harassing people. These men need to be fired, period.
The cops are wrong…the man has RIGHTS!….
Power tripping cops…couldn’t just let them go on their way.

What’s wrong with showing ID at a traffic stop? It wouldn’t occur to me to refuse to show my ID anywhere. Most people don’t have a problem with it. That is why the police didn’t know how to act. I don’t know what “rights” are being violated for a person to be asked to show ID while driving a car in America.
Uh, the driver produced her drivers license as required by law and was determined to be valid. Unless they pulled her over for alleged DUI or OUID, smelled alcohol or dope emitting from the vehicle, seen dope or open containers in the vehicle or personally knew either the driver or passenger without identification and knew either to actually have a warrant? Everything after the initial stop, driver status check and vehicle registration and insurance check was WRONG. Not the most tactfull way of trying to prove his point on the passengers side, but, he wasn’t exactly legally wrong either. The jr. Police and his F.T.O should be recycled back through some schooling. Using the child as threat material to a new mother on what should have been a very routine traffic stop was WAY,WAY, over the line and really just goes to show how incompetent he is and how far ignorant people will go to try and save face when they are called out for being wrong. Cops can’t get by on people’s willful ignorance of their rights anymore. It’s a new day and more people are invoking their Constitutional rights, more now than ever.
Shocking!
