Jamal Jones, his girlfriend Lisa Mahone, and their two children, 14 and 7, were going to a hospital to visit Lisa’s dying mother.
Cops stopped them who state that they pulled the family over because Mahone was not wearing her seat belt. After she showed her ID and insurance they asked for Jamal’s ID, who was the passenger.
Shortly after he stated he didn’t have it due to receiving a ticket, cops asked that he get out of the vehicle, which he refused to do.

But once again, if you comply with what an officer says things like this wouldn’t happen. People have gotten to where they think they are above the law and do not have to do what’s asked of them. He would have gotten out if the car, got asked a few questions, had his name run for warrants, and if he wasn’t hiding anything would have been let go. I’ve been pulled over and my brother who was a parolee was asked for id, when the officer run him, seen he didn’t have anything on him, we were on our way. No officer is going to stand there and look stupid while they are asking you to do something. I’ve seen people curse and mentally abuse officers to the point they deserve whatever happens to them. Knowing good and well if someone talked to them like that on the street it would turn violent with regular citizens. So when stuff like this is reported, take in the big picture….was the offender verbally abusing the officer? was he complying with what the officer said? Was he causing a scene? Which by the way, constitutes arrest for causing a disturbance. So when all this happens, is it the officers abusing their authority, or regular joe citizens that are taking things to far and then bitch, whine, and complain when things go south?
what r wrong with these cops?? I thot they were hired 4 peace. Not in this case. Not a good thing 4 kids to see, now they will b afraid of police whereas use to they were 4 help!I
Would not have become an issue if the dumbass had followed directions and gotten out of the vehicle.
No tommy it was all about cooperation the cops waited three minutes for him to cooperate he didn’t they did what they had to do.
