Jamal Jones, his girlfriend Lisa Mahone, and their two children, 14 and 7, were going to a hospital to visit Lisa’s dying mother.
Cops stopped them who state that they pulled the family over because Mahone was not wearing her seat belt. After she showed her ID and insurance they asked for Jamal’s ID, who was the passenger.
Shortly after he stated he didn’t have it due to receiving a ticket, cops asked that he get out of the vehicle, which he refused to do.

By the law in Illinois, he is required to show a form of id. By not removing himself from the car and moving his body in such a way gave the police the right to protect themselves. The police were right. Look up the law before jumping to conclusions. I did.
State law does not require the passenger of a vehicle to show ID therefore they never had any right to ask for his ID in the first place besides the police officer question has at least two other lawsuits against him for excessive force if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it’s a duck
Officers were way out of control. NEWS reports on TV last night indicated that the involved officers had a prior civil suit against them for excessive force. Time to lose their jobs due to their pattern of conduct.
Sharon sounds like she’s with the sheeple
has this become an epidemic this is the USA since when do we need ID “papers” to ride in a car fire them now
Comply comply comply…. Why don’t people obey cops orders…????? Cop doesn’t know if homey is reaching for a gun or not…. later homey says he was reaching for a past ticket…. dumb ass…… YES even with kids in the back seat… homeys have whipped out a gun….
If you are tired of posting videos of police/citizen incidents…..STOP IT. As a daughter, sister and cousin of law enforcement officers….I’ve taken a stand in support of a family member that still has a law enforcement family member and sharing her post. If you agree….PASS IT ON. “OK, FB friends…..fair warning. I am tired of listening to people bad-mouth police officers. I am taking it personally, and I won’t hesitate to unfriend you. Until you have had to worry about your love or one of their fellow officers when they are called out in the middle of the night, or when they cannot answer when dispatch is calling them over the scanner for a safety check, you don’t know. It is my life. I chose this life, and I am proud of their service. It is easy to judge later, after the fact, but I hope that those folks don’t have to make a split-second decision to protect themselves and others one day. It’s a calling and a hard life. Be thankful instead of critical.”
if he’s driving he’d better have’ PAPERS ‘
You don’t get sympathy from me. It’s their lives in jeopardy when a suspect refuses to submit to being searched. 100 percent times force is justified . I support our police 100 percent.
Seriously this is awful!
