Jamal Jones, his girlfriend Lisa Mahone, and their two children, 14 and 7, were going to a hospital to visit Lisa’s dying mother.
Cops stopped them who state that they pulled the family over because Mahone was not wearing her seat belt. After she showed her ID and insurance they asked for Jamal’s ID, who was the passenger.
Shortly after he stated he didn’t have it due to receiving a ticket, cops asked that he get out of the vehicle, which he refused to do.

And allow me to win, not just for me but for all the other people they do this too.. IT MUST STOP.. Lillie ozment
I would have just shown my ID….
Show your Id if you have nothing to hide.our cops are here to protect us. So respect the uniform
Tell the whole story!
What martial law?
We need the ENTIRE story here. How can anyone make a judgment when we don’t know what happened. Stop creating problems, news media.
Despite what the police tell you, there is no Law that says you have to present an ID in a private vehicle, only commercial vehicles. Kinda like a POW in the military, you must give your name and birthday, when asked, but that’s it. If arrested, you don’t even have to give them that. Lawyers will tell you, don’t talk to the police. period. “Anything you say can, and will, be used against you in a court of law” They will suggest, be calm, be polite, be respectful, and shut up. They also suggest video all interactions with the police, it’s the only acceptable proof against a cops word, in court.
if you haven’t got anything to hide, and do as they ask, there probably would be an issue?
The driver showed her license, by law in that state, the police have the right to ask all passengers for ID. The man refused to even roll his window down. When he turned to reach in the back seat, the police didn’t know if he was reaching for. His ID or a gun! He said he was reaching to show the officers the ticket he received. He refused to get out of the car, so they reacted. Put yourself in the cops position. What would you have done? You see someone reaching into a bag after refusing to show ID, refusing to roll the window down, and refusing to get out of the car.
Some cops believe that if the POTUS can disregard the law then they can too.
