If anyone thought the left would roll over just because of the extraordinary and stunning results of the 2016 presidential election, such a person is terribly ill-informed and even deluded. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth by the exponents of Hillary Clinton, liberals began to regroup and prepare their attack. This, while Hillary wandered the nation in a daze, promoting her book “What Happened?” during her sore-loser book tour.
The liberals can now be counted on to seize any opportunity to attack President Trump, Republicans, and those with conservative views. If the issue is not as strong as it needs to be to serve their purposes, they will exaggerate. If the needed issue does not exist, they will create it out of thin air.
School shootings are perhaps the ultimate in criminal acts. While we do not charge the left with looking forward to such events, they are very willing to use them as vehicles for pushing one of their favorite initiatives: Gun control.
The National Rifle Association is an obvious target of the left. Yet the vitriol directed against the NRA is reaching record levels. Want an example of what the liberals are doing? It’s on page two.
