The government continues to sell Americans out to wealthy foreign interests, even if it means the very food they eat isn’t safe to eat.
Dutifully toeing the free-trade, globalization party line, Congress overwhelmingly voted to repeal the country-of-origin-labeling rule (COOL) as part of the staggering omnibus spending bill it passed on Friday.
Panicked by the $1 billion worth of punitive import tariffs that would be levied against the US by the World Trade Organization if the rule remained in effect, the legislature quickly sent the bill to President Obama’s desk, who wasted no time signing it and the provision disposing of COOL into law.

I always look at the labeling. I will now only purchase from my local farmers
That’s funny because meat imported from Canada was banned years ago because a cow in Oregon that came from Canada tested positive for mad cow. I have never heard that the ban was ever lifted especially since I have heard people still complain about it because the price skyrocketed because of it.
Are the cows mad because white people are racist?
We should know where our meat comes from
