Military veteran and painter, Lee Bowerman, is being asked by Colorado Veterans Administration to paint over a section of his war mural that contains an image of the Confederate flag.
The mural is a beautifully drawn representation of American history that spans all American wars, from the Revolutionary War, to current conflicts in the Middle East.

Whoever you are I say this to you…lay off Jurk ..even if you only have a speck of a brain you should know THAT IS PART of AMERICAN HISTORY….my Ancestors fought and some died on both sides along with thousands of other Americans family ancestors. Do you want to take the British flag the French flag the Italian flags the German flags Japanese flag The Mexican flag and any other flag that opposed United States in war against America flags out of this country. You can’t take away the American History involving the Civil War just too many died on both sides.
