Military veteran and painter, Lee Bowerman, is being asked by Colorado Veterans Administration to paint over a section of his war mural that contains an image of the Confederate flag.
The mural is a beautifully drawn representation of American history that spans all American wars, from the Revolutionary War, to current conflicts in the Middle East.

I doubt they participated either sides.. Then again we don’t know! But I know that there was several free black men who fought in that civil war unfortunately whites don’t doucment much of that fact!
