Military veteran and painter, Lee Bowerman, is being asked by Colorado Veterans Administration to paint over a section of his war mural that contains an image of the Confederate flag.
The mural is a beautifully drawn representation of American history that spans all American wars, from the Revolutionary War, to current conflicts in the Middle East.

The civil war was not fought over slavery. It was fought over high taxation and states rights. Lincoln used the slaves because the northern states did not want to go to war
