The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.
Move on to the next page:
It went down initially. I don’t know why it’s gone back up. Probably because citizens weren’t being armed and muggers rapists and thieves weren’t being shot to death in the commission of a crime. Anybody’s guess why that happened, but I’m sure it would stop almost to a standstill if victims would defend themselves with deadly force. Popular culture frowns on self defense with deadly force and anti-gun people are actually happy when the crime rate gore up. Maybe the increase in crime in Kennesaw will trigger ( pun intended ) a positive reaction and some criminals will die. Then the anti-gun people can cry for the criminals like always.
Smart people right there
The town sets just above Atlanta GA. May be a full township by now.
Well I guess some criminal didn’t get the memo.
The chart shows -19 drop in crime in 2017 and Kennesaw Part 1 crimes haven’t yet gotten back to where they were, so I don’t know if that’s part of what you saw when you read the stats, but I’m guessing you saw what you wanted to see.
Thanks for making my point by bringing up the stats, though. I lived around Kennesaw for a few years and it was common knowledge that crime went down there.
Amen
Good for the home owners
… according to the loony left … this entire town will wipe itself out within a few weeks …
Great offences the best defence !!!
