The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

Just call me a pistol packing mama!
Only people who are against guns are the ones that don’t own one.
at the rate the goverment is going they will be making law biding people into crimanuals by making them have guns but never registering them
It’s rare in small towns yet it can happen…everyone ‘knowing’ each other means a lot. Out here, when you pass someone & they don’t wave…we know another city person has moved out here or they are up to no good (if they’re kids). Sometimes I feel like a native…our way of life is being contaminated.
We carried our hunting rifles in the back window of our trucks at school up until 1995 in the ozarks. A guy i know almost got expelled from school one deer season because the new libtard principl was waiting in the parking lot for people who were showing up late, he seen the gun in the back window and called the police.
I say give them all guns and let stupid sort itself out.
Thankfully they’re not Oregon

If there is ever a challenge it would be found unconstitutional…….
Kudos to Colorado for common sense. Homeland Security starts at home. Duh…
Oh cool! I wanna live there!
