The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

Yeah right Uko ,that’s all over the news from Nucla,Colorado !
But when it does and it’s over, Miller Time!
Should be federal law and have lots of ammo
i hope every town and state follows suit
MarvW says:
“I thought I’d add this first before the Liberal antis get too excited.. Notice the exception. “So why did the Nucla town board feel the need to pass an ordinance mandating guns for every household except those headed by felons, the mentally disabled, “paupers,” or those whose religion or other beliefs don’t line up with gun owning?””

Good for them, good job!
Lmmfao! I’m sure these same morons yell about being forced to buy medical insurance but love being forced to buy a gun. Jesus you people are hypocrites.
I don’t think you should force someone to buy a gun, if they want one they will buy it
Way to go!
Say what? Mandate gun ownership! I want to move there! God bless the town people for living under the U.s. Constitution.
