The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

Colorado seems to be getting better and better. Definitely keeping this place in mind if ever I feel the need to relocate.
Great idea!
good for the town our President is above the law so does it mean if he comes there does he got shot or even Harry Reid
No one should have to own a gun but anyone who wants to should be able to .
I LOVE guns and own many but forcing people who dont like guns, to own a gun, is no different then gun-grabbers infringing on my right to own guns. Forcing people to do anything against their own believes or values isn’t right either way you look at it.
GOD BLESS YOU SIR…
Smart move
I am for the Second Amendment, but as a person with a form of autism, I feel kind of helpless with being unable to help defend their Second Amendment rights.
what if state sends in national guard then what..?? just saying…oh never mind watching to many movies how ‘its always the small towns getting screwed by the Gov’t and strange things happening and space ships, and etc…never big city’s as not ‘so’ easy to control and thats a fact. As in big city’s you have gang’s and they got fire power to say the least and lots of police too…Good luck …..
