The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.
Move on to the next page:
The town of Kennesaw Ga. passed such an ordinance 15 or 20 years ago…Of course they don’t enforce it…It was just making a statement to all gun control activist.
More States need to follow in Colorado’s footsteps!
More towns…..every town/city in America that has any elected officials with a decent amount of common sense should be doing this…..without fail…….
True wisdom. Bless you.
Don’t move. Make it happen in your town. Some small towns and suburbs of larger towns is where they will start with take over and confiscation of firearms…!!!!
It’s been that way most of my life. Everyone in my family have or have had from hunting. To protection! What’s new about it!
At the same time, Colorado as a state Is passing some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.. So yes it’s mandatory to own a gun and ammo but no more than, what is it, 7 or 10 rounds? Gtfoh lol
VERY AMERICAN TOWN
Time to move to Colorado 1 of 50 states doing it right by Americans
Glad to see there are some sane folks in Colorado.
