The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

do that think forcing people to own guns is the right
There would be a lot less crime if this was implemented everywhere!
Good for them. Those that don’t want to comply can live in Boulder, FT Collins, or Denver. They probably would fit in better there.
i think every man should have a rite to own one
Also keep in mind that they also have legal “WEED” and don’t really care much who, or what you are if you’ve got no legitimate business there!
more towns should follow suit. smart people.
Awesome
Sounds as though Nucia CO knows something. Maybe because the US is becoming a police state? The residents had better hide their weapons well because the NSA will be visiting their town.
now we in Colorado are going to watch what hicken looper does when it comes to this
Hell yeah! It’s probably has a high drug use and high crime from neighboring cities. More power to them.
