It was first assumed that one million gallons of toxic mining waste leaked out into the Animas River in southwest Colorado. That itself was bad enough for the Gov. John Hickenlooper to declare an emergency to “ensure public safety and minimize environmental impacts,” which allowed for $500,000 from the state emergency fund to be given to response efforts.

And the state and all that are effected should sue the EPA for everything that it’s worth.
Sue the sh*t out of them for ruining your lives, and demand jail time.
I believe this was done Intentionally to deprive people of their water and force them out of the area and off their land.
Maybe the EPA should fine itself so much for this fiasco, that it puts their own selves out of business. It’s only fair!
