Politics is a dirty business, played by politicians according to their own convoluted set of rules. That is why it is so hard for a non-politican to win office. The rules keep changing, and the powers that be make sure that the insiders win so that they can all keep scratching one another’s backs.
This election cycle has been a particularly odd one, and the front runner for the Republican party is outsider and non-politician Donald Trump. That is not to say that Trump has been above his own set of dirty tricks, he has masterfully played the press, his opposition, and the public. One does not become a wealthy developer in New York City without gaining skills in the rough and tumble of business and negotiating.
One of the main reasons that Trump has gained traction is that Mr. Average Citizen is sick and tired of the games and cronyism that Establishment Republicans have been playing for years, leaving the average citizen in the lurch and keeping Wall Street and their political friends in the money. So it seems that finally average Republicans will have a say in who runs the show. But wait, not so fast!

Corruption exposed!!!
Ed Douglas: Interesting reply. I haven’t had a chance to read your links but I will when I get a chance. Let’s look at the facts: 1. The GOP is proving itself incompetent because it has lost the last two elections and in all fairness should of won the last one. Problems in their process definitely exist. 2. The GOP establishment is out in the open trying to eliminate the long standing frontrunner from being nominated. They are trying to use their power, money, influence, and nomination process they design to force a nomination against the will of the majority of republicans. 3. When the individual people vote using the same process they will use when the vote to elect a president the majority are voting for Donald Trump. In turn the GOP establishment is going against the will of the people. I have to go back to work, but I’ll finish my response later. Thanks for your patience.
Civil war time.
Hooray for assholes in Colorado
OUTRAGES! We’ve allowed this to happen because we’re just lazy. WAKE UP USA!
Didn’t this Delegate know that the Republicans keep on changing their rules so they can nominate who they want and not for who we want. Did he actually believe that he or the Republican voters were supposed to have a choice on who they wanted for President. Didn’t he know that the voters don’t decide, the party decides. And to get who they want, they cheat.
AS BAD AS THE DEMS
August , 2015 , the Colorado state GOP Executive committee made a new rule for the states delegates to support the candidate who wins the caucus vote …. And the delegates are not pledged to any candidate ……Well that did not happen ,,,, I smell voting scandal !
This guy is a liar and so are you guys for continuing to push this phony story. This guy was appointed at the county level and was either too stupid or too ignorant or too lazy to know he had to show up at subsequent meetings to be appointed to function at the state level. That was why he was not allowed to be part of the state convention, he didn’t know how, or chose not to follow the rules.
thats a lie im sure after all we arn’t the democrats and why this 1 guy and no1 else??? it’s has to be a lie
