Lt. Tom Davidson from the Lafayette, Indiana police dept. received only a 30-day suspension for beating down a handicap man ran accidentally ran over his foot.
Although the entire upper management within the dept. wanted Davidson fired, the department’s Civil Service Commission decided that his behavior was not outside police policy and handed him this short suspension.
This police state needs guys like Lt. Tom Davidson – cops who are capable of brutalizing people without regard – so that complete submission to authority is accomplished.
fire his ass now
To protect and serve? Who? When I first read this, I thought the man was in a car, not a wheelchair. This porker with a badge should be punished by loosing his job, criminal charges for assault, and required to ride a wheelchair everywhere for a month. This officers attitude and actions put his fellow officers in jeopardy. Mistrust in the people hired to protect and serve will cause normal citizens to view them as an enemy, then they will not be called until after the fact or not at all. If this department doesn’t agree with the manner this man took against a wheelchair bound person, they could have him fired. It does appear that law enforcement can do anything they want. They should expect retaliation.
Find him, beat him, leave him for dead.
Vigilante Force says:
“Find him, beat him, leave him for dead.”

What ever happen to Protect and Serve? You always have to have one bad one to make them all look bad. Thank God all are not like him?
so it is ok for their police to beat someone like this, I have no respect for their police dept for letting them get away for this!
He should have been fired! He does not belong in the Police Force!
not right his ass should have been fired.
Fired,fined and Jailed!
Any cop who has violence should be fired and never allowed to have a police job again just like felons. Police have no right to lay hands on unless you really show a threat, not because the cop got mad.
