CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Ponders: Is Barcelona a “Copycat” of Charlottesville

Yesterday’s horrific Islamic terrorist attack on innocent people in Barcelona, Spain by a van driver pushed CNN over the edge in trying to equate the white nationalists in Virginia with ISIS.

Leading the way were CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer and chief national security correspondent Jim Sciuttto.

There will be questions about copycats, questions about if not what happened in Barcelona was at all, at all, a copycat version of what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia,” Blitzer said. “Even though they may be different characters and different political ambitions, they used the same killing device — a vehicle going at high speed — into a group, a large group, of pedestrians.”

Sciutto responded by claiming ISIS, which immediately took responsibility for the Barcelona attack, had taken a page from the playbook of the driver in Charlottesville.

The only serious question that remains is this: can Blitzer and Sciutto be so absolutely stupid, so totally ignorant or so wholly dishonest to have forgotten about attacks by radical Islamist drivers on pedestrians in:

Nice, France (86 dead, 303 injured); London (5 dead, 50 injured); Berlin (12 dead); Jerusalem (4 dead, 15 injured); and closer to home, Ohio State University (11 injured, including some stabbed by the driver after he left the vehicle).

All of these incidents occurred long before the Charlottesville event. During that time, ISIS has been encouraging its adherents to carry out attacks on crowds using vehicles.

CNN’s Peter Bergen joined in on the shameful fake news by equating Islamic jihadists with “right-wing extremists,” all while no motive for the Charlottesville driver has surfaced.

These guys call themselves journalists? They’re fake news purveyors and propagandists for the Deep State and hard left-wing Democrats.
