Donald Trump was clearly startled during his campaign stop in Dayton, Ohio Saturday as he spoke from an open stand. A man from the audience suddenly ran to the stage and jumped atop it in order to grab Trump’s leg. The assault was unsuccessful, fortunately.
Trump is not everybody’s favorite in this election, but the determination from the Left and the Right to stop him is unprecedented. Perhaps that is a good sign that he is threatening the status quo and will shake things up in Washington. More likely is that he will be brought back to reality by laws and limitations that every president faces. But for now, the Trump show rolls on, and there will no doubt be more surprises as both the Democrats and the Republicans try to stop the Trump juggernaut.
Now, CNN has given the man who attempted to attack the billionaire a platform before the American people, essentually encouraging more attacks. Who doesn’t want their 15 minutes of fame?
