Democrats have never found a problem that money can’t fix. They want to increase spending on everything and — until now — that hasn’t been much of a problem. Recent administrations have been more than willing to increase the size of government, regardless of political party.
But now we have a president who is serious about shrinking the size of government — and Democrats are furious. According to Hillary Clinton, budget cuts amount to an “unimaginable level of cruelty.” Apparently, the less cruel option is universal healthcare.
