No more sneaking outside candy into the movie theater! The Regal Entertainment Group is now doing bag checks of patrons coming to enjoy a movie and a bag of popcorn. Contraband candy and gun checks are now part of Regal Cinemas policy because of the shooting last month at the Louisiana theater.
The Regal Entertainment Group stated that it desires that it’s staff and customers to feel safe and comfortable, therefore it instituted the new policy. Many customers are critical about the logistics of how this will actually help and what would happen if a teen ticket taker actually finds a patron toting a gun.

You could put an end to all this nonsense right away. Take the “Gun Free Zone” signs down and let law abiding citizens carry. The only reason these whack jobs are shooting up these places is because they know they won’t meet any resistance.
